Welcome to Blueprint. Blueprint is culmination of a 2 year journey that started right around this time in 2024.  I could not believe my eyes when I saw the timestamp reviewing the initial implementation.

I have been obsessed with creating a system that would allow me to manage small business websites at scale, and I believe I have accomplished that, but now I need to share what I have created.

Blueprint is the name of the WordPress theme that utilizes my Carbon Fields methodology to constructing web pages.  Which is to say, I have tried my hand a few frameworks, rolled my own (years ago), and tried this pattern in ProcessWire before returning to WordPress utilizing the Carbon Fields plugin.

Even typing this in an 'old-school' WordPress WYSIWYG, knowing that I can pass this content string around is satisfying.

I had a really bad night last night... I'm at the tail end of a 3 day hyper-focus, at the tail end of a 2-3 week documentation/tutorial hyper-focus, and I really want this to be solidified/codified.

This isn't the "sexy" modern way to build and manage a web presense, but the core fundamentals and build approach will last for my lifetime and beyond.  It's "built to last."
